Lives and works between Pennsylvania and New York

Garret Kane is an artist, sculptor, animator, writer, and creative director living between Pennsylvania and New York. His work spans physical sculpture, digital fabrication, animation, speculative fiction, and large-scale installation.

Kane’s sculptures and installations have been exhibited internationally, including at the Flatiron Building’s Prow Art Space, Art Basel Miami, Untitled Art Fair, Gowanus Open Studios, Chashama’s Gala, and residencies in Mexico City and São Paulo. His practice often combines hand-built sculpture with 3D printing, scanning, found materials, digital modeling, and animation.

Before focusing more fully on his studio practice, Kane spent nearly two decades working in advertising and design as a Creative Director and Art Director. That background continues to inform his ability to build visual systems, immersive installations, brand worlds, and narrative-driven projects.

He is currently developing a science-fiction novel connected to the same world as many of his figurative sculptures. He also co-founded Ecosapiens, a climate-focused art and technology project that helped support environmental impact initiatives, including large-scale tree planting.
