Overview

Founder and co-founder work spanning restaurants, consumer products, and climate technology. These projects—from Accomplice to Checkit and Ecosapiens—were built from the ground up, blending product, brand, and narrative to take ideas from concept to market.

Checkit

A real-time, AI- and AR-powered product scanner that lets people instantly understand what’s behind the things they buy—health and ingredient risks, allergens, recalls, ethical and environmental impact, and more—across a wide range of consumer goods.

Checkit campaign Work

We launched a set of rapid-growth campaigns to support Checkit’s beta—designed to validate positioning, identify winning creative, and scale sign-ups efficiently across channels. In under a month, iterative ad testing brought our cost per sign-up down to sub-$1, with creative cycles typically turning in ~two working days from concept to launch.

Campaigns ran primarily on Twitter/X and Instagram, paired with a companion Reddit response effort (high-intent threads + thoughtful replies) to capture demand, build trust, and convert curiosity into installs. Across each campaign, we tested both direct-response hooks and more narrative, brand-forward angles—then doubled down on what performed.

PRODUCTION TIME 8 HOURS.

Before there was Checkit, there was Ecolink

On our way to becoming an AR/AI realtime scanner, we started out with ecolink an AI powered app that used llms to find truth in brands and also onboarded brands to be featured in the app by getting ecolink verified. In just one month, 40+ brands joined Ecolink to become Ecosapiens Verified—think of it as the Energy Star for sustainable brands. To celebrate, we launched a bold Times Square campaign, showcasing every product at the heart of the world’s most iconic stage.

The $MEGA Token

MEGA (Make Earth Great Again) was built for reach first. In a moment when crypto was going mainstream and four-letter tickers dominated, MEGA helped an environmental app cut through the noise—and it worked. Created with late-2024 AI tools, it became the reward layer behind Checkit/Ecolink: users earn tokens for scanning products, verifying claims, contributing data, and sharing the app. Over 1 million MEGA tokens were airdropped globally. Tools and aesthetics change fast, but the idea holds: MEGA isn’t a meme—it’s an incentive system for truth in consumerism. (And yes, the koala mascot stuck because we all liked him.)

ACCOMPLICE

A high-end fast-casual restaurant founded by Michelin-star chefs hired me to concept, design, and build the entire space—sculptures, artwork, and animation. It became the first full production from GK Studios, my design/art/fabrication company. Given a yellow balaclava as the spark, I created a crew of “criminals” obsessed with stealing the criminally delicious fast food.

Contemporizing the Hamburglar

I designed and hand-built 7 life-size figurative works, an animated menu, appropriated artworks, and 3D printed a 12-foot Roman-style relief, replacing the bacchanalia of grapes and wine with burgers, fries, and ice cream. It's criminally delicious.

X-BITE

X-Bite was developed as a targeted itch-relief innovation centered on a simple, highly effective applicator design.

Following development and validation, the technology was licensed to After Bite, now part of Adventure Ready Brands. Today, it lives on as After Bite® featuring XTech—currently the brand’s #1 selling SKU.

The product is widely available through major retailers, including Amazon and Walmart, marking a full transition from original invention to mass-market adoption.

Before signing the licensing deal, we were already gearing up for our own GTM.

Our first step was a scrappy, in-house Indiegogo video—featuring a bear-scientist, produced for under $2K—created long before the era of AI video. That early creative spirit helped define the playful, problem-solving tone that ultimately carried through to the licensed product you see today.

HOW IT WORKS

First, a patented "X" tip applicator is pressed into the bite - a scientifically proven method that displaces and weakens the potency of the insect's saliva.

Simultaneously, a powerful antihistamine ointment is applied through the tip directly onto the bite, providing relief and speeding the healing process.

AIR SUPPLIES

A series of experimental ad campaigns designed to test product virality. Each campaign ran with full media buys, dedicated websites, and real audience engagement—functioning as digital focus groups. The most successful product will officially launch in September.

The debut campaign, 'Softer Than,' showcased the ultimate in luxury—an ultra-luxe pair of slippers designed for pure comfort.

LAYLIFE

LayLife began as an exploration of form, function, and storytelling—multi-use cotton spreads shaped like animals, designed to blur the line between utility and art.

The initial releases sold out, with additional designs planned. Ultimately, the project reached a natural conclusion as focus shifted toward other creative and environmental work.

LayLife remains a finished chapter—an experiment that proved its idea, found its audience, and made space for what came next.
